Wonderland content consists in large part of 3D landscapes and 3D objects created to populate those landscapes. 3D objects are created using 3D development tools like, for example, Maya and Blender.
Unfortunately, 3D modeling software can be very expensive. A single user license for Maya may cost several thousand dollars! The good news for folks interested in 3D modelling is that Blender is open source, and therefore can be used for little or no cost, and can be readily extended to meet a wide range of development needs. Therefore, in this workshop and beyond we'll commit to using Blender to meet our 3D modelling needs.
